Ubuntu Numeric Keypad Ubuntu Hardy

Linux

As some of you may noticed, in Ubuntu Hardy when using gnome,

All the keys of the numeric keypad act as ctrl-alt-backspace and just crash X.

After this have returned for me the second time, and I had to look for the solution again, I have decided to write an article about this, and make sure other people know how to fix it :)

 The solution is simple --

Go into System >Preferences > Keyboard, click the Mouse Keys tab, and uncheck "Allow to control the pointer using the keyboard"

Click "Close" And you're done :)

Bookmark this page, its the kinda things you'll bang your head over many times, "How the hell did I fix this the last time?"

--Simba.
