In qmail, it is often necessary to know how many processes have been run through since the last reboot or restart of qmail.

Here's how you can do that:

# LOOKING AT QMAIL STATS TALLY:
tail -F /var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd/current

# The resulting pid numbers show how many emails were sent since last reboot. ie:
@4000000041bdb66814eaaed4 tcpserver: pid 10876 from 215.178.163.29
